FITUR international tourism fair in Madrid.

There is to be an extensive representation of the Valencian Community at the International Tourist Trade fair in Madrid -FITUR- in Madrid this year, featuring four brands: Costa Blanca, Benidorm, Valencia and the Costa de Azahar. Each will have its own stand, and the entire Valencian Community will completely take over the entire area of Pavilion 5 in the Trade Fair grounds, and in addition to the Trade marked areas, some 892 towns individually will be present as will various private institutions of the Valencian Community, marking the second year that all the exhibitors are participating jointly under one roof. Surface area will include a press centre and five meeting rooms amongst other areas, whilst the Grand Projects Department of the Community will be promoting the City of Light, the Americas Cup, the City of Arts and Sciences, the Light of The Images Foundation and the Ricardo Tormo Racing circuits whilst businesses such as Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, the MARQ Museum in Alicante, Xeresa Golf and Marina d'Or will also have their own special stands within the Pavilion. The main stand will also be re-used throughout this year in the trade fairs of Bilbao, Barcelona, Valladolid and the Valencia Tourist Fair. As part of the promotion, this coming Thursday will be the Day of the Valencian Community at FITUR, which will see the official visit of Francisco Camps, the President of the Valencian Community to the Trade fair along with a number of Consellers and various Mayors.
