Snow forecast for eastern parts.

A cold front which is already affecting the Cantabrian coast will make its way across the eastern half of the peninsula, bringing snow to areas and a noticeable fall in temperatures, over the course. Head of forecasting for the National Meteorological Institute Angel Rivera, explained that the passage of the pocket of cold air across Spain will be very rapid, and conditions are expected to begin to improve as early as Tuesday 10 Jan afternoon. The front will bring snow to the provinces of Cuenca, Aragón, Guadalajara, the eastern half of Ciudad Real and the interior of Valencia, Tarragona, Granada and Almerha. Small amounts of snow are also possible in Madrid, but are not expected to cause serious problems for motorists and it is unlikely that it will have time to freeze over before temperatures once again begin to rise. Following some days of fine weather, more heavy rains are forecast next weekend.
